Photos: Bleachers at the Bluebird Theater

These photos are overdue, mainly because the holidays have a way of imposing on your life. That isn’t to say Bleachers were not awesome. In fact, after seeing Jack Antonoff’s side project, I can officially say I vastly prefer Bleachers to Fun. I am sure he doesn’t care much either way, since he seems to have a blast doing everything, but as I watched him sing, play and engage the crowd all night – I was really, really impressed. Talent oozes from everywhere.

Bleachers’ debut album Strange Desire was released last summer and it’s been on repeat ever since. While the song “I Wanna Get Better” was pretty much an anthem we all have been singing, there are so many others I love and loved hearing live.
