My First Hiatus

Well, we head to San Diego in a few hours, so I will be signing off all computers soon. Before you get any ideas about robbing my house, one of Declan’s teachers from school is house/pet sitting for us while we are gone. Dex’s school has turned into quite the resource… we now have 2 baby sitters and 1 pet sitter from there.

I just came home from our annual “Board of Directors” meeting (kind of funny since it is just me and my business partner who make up the so-called Board). But it has started my vacation off on a good note. This time last year we were on very shaky ground, but 2006 is looking very good thus far. Yee-haw!

And so, now I am home and must finish packing, pay some bills and get the house cleaned. (Neat freaks are embarrassed when their house is messy, even if the only person who sees it is the guy coming over to let the dog out to take a shit).

It feels weird to sign-off from here, even for a few days. I am not sure how other bloggers feel about it, but I have come to look forward to my little verbal explosions on here every day.
