I have noticed something lately. We have a few aquaintences in which we have always loved the female half of the pair… but the male half was always marginally tolerable.
Then they had kids.
And these men bloomed into interesting, caring, thoughtful people. How does that happen? Is it the sleep deprevation? The poopy diapers? The “I need to think about someone other than myself now” syndrome? I guess really don’t care how, but it sure makes them nicer to be around.
And no, I am not going to name any names.
Of course, when I mentioned this theory to Bryan, he asked aloud, “I wonder if I got more tolerable, or even more annoying.”
