Let the Garden Work Begin…

And rounding out our weekend was lots of work outside. Our greenery is starting to get, well… green. I have a goal this year to make some real some improvements to my flower beds. I kind of let them lie fallow for the past few years – mainly because we have been so involved with a certain little boy every waking moment of the day. But this weekend proved that we might just be able to get some yard work done this year. Declan was content to play in the dirt, blow bubbles, help sweep, hold trash bags open for me… and do all sorts of manual labor that will further my gardening goals this summer. Stay tuned.
