Cut the Cord

We did it. Finally did it. We returned the cable box and no longer are connected to the modern world. OK, we still have our super-fast broadband Internet access… but back to basics with only broadcast TV stations coming through an antenna on the roof for TV. Of course, we still have Netflix, which has oodles of TV shows (minus those annoying commercials)… and the best part is – now I can starting shopping around for a cleaning service! We are thinking bi-monthly for a few hours… mainly to keep the kitchen scrubbed from grime and the bathroom, which always seems to get neglected. In fact, I shut my eyes while I took my shower today. Don’t ask.
