First Night

Well, I took my Clonazepam for the first time last night. I did have some trouble falling alseep, and felt a few hot flashes over the course of the night. Not sure if that is related to nervousness over the new drug, withdrawal from Lunesta, or what. Bryan (who apparently sat and watched me sleep for a good portion of the night to make sure the new drug didn’t turn me into a werewolf) said that I was less “jumpy.” Meaning, I didn’t spring up like a coil in an old mattress every time he moved like I normally do. So that’s good. The doc said it would take about a week to really see if it will work. All I know is I did not feel like I was coming off a 3-day bender this morning – so that’s good enough for me for now.
