Howdy from a Big Hole in the Ground

Yes, they do have internet at campsites and national parks, but it’s absolute crap. So you won’t be seeing any photos until we get home, sorry. But they will be worth the wait. I am averaging 150 photos per day (that I am keeping). Santa Fe was gorgeous, the Petrified Forest was stunning and our first day here at the Canyon was a blast. Of course, right now it’s blizzarding outside like a mo’fo’ – but what’s a vacation without a little crazy weather, right? I just happened to grab our winter coats on the way out the door – you know – just in case… so I have been completely amused by sorry for the people shivering their asses off in shorts. We have 2 more nights here at the Canyon then Moab for 2 nights and then home sweet home. Declan has been tolerating the miles – and the interuptions to his sleep schedule – quite well. Plus vacation means Friday Night Treat becomes Every Day Treat, so he is stoked.

See you Sunday.

Can’t wait to hear more. Don’t let a wind gust push you over the edge. It’s a long, long drop.
