Summer of Love
I can’t tell you how many people I know who were born in April. And looking around the blogosphere, I am getting to know a ton more. Apparently, more people than the hippies had sex in July and August 1969.
Because I am 37 today! Yay for me!
I am truly excited. No, really. I am. My thirties have been rockin’ and I expect this year to be no different.
Now on to the good stuff. My presents.
Bryan got me this very cool flexible tripod that attaches to anything, so I can get crazy angles and not be hanging off the side of a building. Plus, it’s totally fun to see what crazy alien shapes I can turn it into.
Speaking of aliens… my BIG present is this Alien Bees light kit – which came from Bryan and all my family birthday checks. THANK YOU TO BRYAN AND ALL MY FAMILY BIRTHDAY CHECKS!
Bryan gets mega bonus points for all the research he did to find this outfit. I tried it out on Marcus, Cheryl and Vaughn and once I figure out how to actually use the thing, I am going to TOTALLY love it. It kicks out the most amazing light.
Do I look professional yet???
Anyway, happy birthday to ME!
We are celebrating for reals tomorrow night with mucho calories at Cafe Berlin with Jeff and Danielle. Because a good German girl eats good German food on her birthday.
