Need to admit something not so cool about myself.

I can make snap judgments about people. As open-minded and liberal as I like to think I am, it just happens.

OK, sometimes on purpose. Like how an old friend and I used to create complete back stories for people we saw across a crowded bar, including who they hung out with in high school and what they do in the bedroom now. But that was just damn funny, people.

I’m talking about when you see someone, and based on their looks and body language alone – you know you will dislike them.

That is so not cool.

But I do it anyway.

The house next to us is a rental and is vacant right now. I was bringing in groceries last night and a couple was there to see the space. The wife and I caught eye contact.

I thought, “What a fucking bitch.”

And by the look on her face, it was clear she thought, “What a fucking bitch.”

I hope to holy hell they hated the space.

I’m guilty, too. And I hate that.

I really like to think I’m pretty open to people and on the outside, I always am. But my deep innards think all skinny blondes have a special place in hell.

Amber, yeah – if they move in, I’ll probably bring them a plate of brownies.

Guilty here too. However I wouldn’t actually act like that until I had good reason. I find that first impressions are usually wrong- Guess I’m a bad judge of character.

I bet that is what she was thinking. But I bet the brownies will prove her wrong!

I do it too… Make snap judgements about people – oh, and I make brownies too…

  7. aimee / greeblemonkey

Yeah, monstergirlee, I am usually wrong too. Good to keep in mind.

My guess is she’s a fucking bitch. I bet she can wiggle her fucking ears too!

That is one thing I like about the blogosphere. The physical is removed…

    Nutmeg – bwaaaaaaa ha ha!!

OTJ – Good point. Except that you don’t look like a bitch from your picture.

That’s better than me. I usually don’t wait till I see people before I assume they are fucking bitches.

We all do it! And, Aimee, I know you are not a fucking bitch!!!!!

But, I’m sure she is! lol….

Hoping that she doesn’t move in. But, brownies would be a nice touch.

Guilty here, too. I think it’s something we all do. Maybe the person just reminds us of someone who we didn’t like when we were younger?

  15. aimee / greeblemonkey

Photo proof! Why didn’t I ever think of that???? LMAO!!!

P.S. Some friends and I have a saying: “Which one of us is driving the bus to hell today?”

My best friend and I are The Worst. Serioulsy. We should be burning in Hell this very minute for the stuff we come up with and that flies out of our mouths.

We’ve even gone so far as to take pictures of people we find perfectly delicious to make fun of them later on.

Wow. I really am a bitch.
