Tagteam for Charity

We knew our best friends were going to the Wine In The Pines event this past weekend. We planned to wave goodbye to them as they headed up the hill and sit on our butts and do absolutely nothing all weekend. (OK, except Declan’s last soccer game, swimming lessons and the Obama rally. That’s fairly “nothing” for us.) But when Jeff and Danielle came up with last minute free tickets to the event and last minute free hotel accommodations, even my love for all things Obama took a back seat.

But we had no babysitter! What to do?

Get creative.

I went out with our pals for the first part of the evening.
All Dressed Up

And Bryan tagged in for the latter part.
Tagging In

Problem solved.

Oh, and here is the standard “I went to a charity event in the mountains but didn’t feel like lugging my camera around but I still managed to get a fantastic sunset photo because I live in the most gorgeous place on earth” shot.

Hi! So, I found your blog and twitter through a friend of mine who reads you….
And, we are going to be in Denver over Halloween. Wondering if you have any tips for good things to do downtown Friday night. Not, crazy young-20-something fun, but, you know, early-thirties-and-starting-to-settle-down fun.
    Thanks!

Oh, and just to be clear, I promise I’m not some random crazy person.
    Random? Sure, at times.
Crazy? Well, I suppose some people would debate that for a minute.

But random crazy person? I’m not.
    🙂

I’m not sure which picture I like better… the last one blows my mind, but the second one cracks me up.

that is really beautiful. you look rather stunning, as well. brian, on the other hand, looks a bit “back off you creep”ish to me, but I’m pretty sure that was intentional. 😉

OMGoodness. I am so jealous of everything you did. Mostly, I wish Bryan had a twin for my friend Nan!

It’s obviously been way too long since I visited the great state of CO. I miss it there and Utah too….that part of the country is SO amazing (people think Hawaii, etc has great sunsets?!? PLEASE!). Growing up in AZ we visited often, but now we don’t get there enough….putting it on the list as we speak…just beautiful.

p.s. That photo should be in an ad for what the iPhone can do!

WOW! Amazing. I wanna live there. But might wait to see if your state turns out to be BLUE or RED.

    GO BLUE!

What a great idea, seeing as you didn’t have a babysitter! Betting than not going!
