December Greeblepix Contest!

It’s that time again! Greeblepix Week! Where you submit your most fave photo right now and get a chance at the prize. I probably don’t have to remind of the prize, since it is super cool wicked awesome, but just in case:
The Greeblepix winner will receive a $250 camera equipment rental from Pro Photo Rental!
YES! TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!
Told you. Wicked awesome. Great equipment from Canon, Nikon, Olympus with free three day shipping (except for a Canadian winner, whose shipping is wrapped into the $250 prize).
No theme this month. Wide open. Whatever photo you are totally loving right now. Whenever it was taken, whatever method, we just want to see it and love on it.
AND. We have had such stellar response, I am upping the finalist number to 10 from 5. You all are just too amazingly awesome, there is no way to narrow it down to just 5.

1. All levels of photographers are welcome. Encouraged, even. Everyone, everyone, everyone is welcome.
2. Except! No family members of Greeblemonkey are eligible.
3. You must be the photographer of the photo you submit and have clearance for any people in the photos.
4. One photo/entry per person per month.
5. Winner from last month, please take a month off.
6. Photo can be taken specifically for the contest, or in the past.
7. United States and Canadian photographers only.
8. No anonymous entries. Please make sure I can contact you!
9. Photos must be submitted below by 10pm Mountain time, Tuesday December 16th, 2008 to be considered.

Use this badge in your post, if you like. (Right click and pull down to “Save Image As” to grab the badge).

Aimee, I just got my first DSLR and I know next to nothing about photography. I remember that at one point you were posting basic information about taking pictures. Can you direct me to any of that? ISO/Aperature… it’s all greek to me.

I’ve entered a pic of my brother from last Christmas Eve. It’s titled “hardcore”. We watch the sunset from the Huntington Beach pier every year and last year he was in his “rebellious” stage. :o)
