October Greeblepix Photo Contest!
I really think this is my favorite week of the month; I *love* looking at all your photos. So, bring it! No theme this month, do whatever you want! Whatever photo you are just loving on right now.
As always, the Greeblepix winner will receive a $250 camera equipment rental from Pro Photo Rental!
Great equipment from Canon, Nikon, Olympus with free three day shipping each way.

3. You must be the photographer of the photo you submit and have clearance for any people in the photos.
4. One photo/entry per person per month.

6. Photo can be taken specifically for the contest, or in the past.
7. United States photographers only.
8. No anonymous entries.
9. Photos must be submitted below by 10pm Mountain time, Tuesday October 20, 2009 to be considered.

I was really torn as to which photo to use. I was hoping you might have a theme so I could narrow it down a bit. I’m not very good at landscapes but this one kind of caught my eye. Hope you like it.

I have not entered in a while. I used to do it every month. I guess I have not had anything worth posting lately. Fall is such a fun photography month for me and I am loving all the images posted so far.
Everyone, everyone, everyone is welcome… so long as they live in the U.S.? I realize it’s probably because the prize can’t be awarded outside the U.S. by the sponsor, but what about those of us that are willing to enter for the glory? Can’t there be a disclaimer that allows us to enter?
Shawna, I am sorry that you feel disincluded! We did try to include Canada previously but our first Canadian winner taught us the red tape can be over the top. Perhaps I should change that language in the rules for next time so it doesn’t say everyone so enthusiastically, because unfortunately – as much as I would love to include everyone in the world, we have limitations.
This is my first time entering this contest! I’m really excited to toss my hat in the ring and I love the “grateful” theme for the month. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday and a great season to photograph! Thanks for letting anyone enter!

Aimee, what about a disclaimer that the prize will be awarded to the U.S. photo that gets the most votes? Or, if that doesn’t seem fair, is it feasible to have a seperate category/parallel contest for non-U.S. entries where the only prize is the fame and recognition of your peers or something?
I have no idea how much work is involved in setting up your entry and voting system so forgive me if I’m suggesting something out of line. Not to pressure you – you certainly don’t owe anyone anything. I only ask because your contest is a good place for people just starting out to test the waters, and get some feedback and encouragement. You provide a venue that isn’t as daunting as some, y’know what I’m saying?
