March Greeblepix Contest

I am in Austin, at SXSW, and I didn’t even bring my DSLR with me this time, because most parties around the conference don’t even let you in with it, so I decided to give my back a break and leave it home. But the cool thing is, photos don’t have to be taken with a fancy camera, right? Remember that with your entries.

We don’t care HOW the photo was taken.

WE JUST WANT TO SEE YOUR PHOTOS!

No theme this month, anything you want to share.

Per usual, the Greeblepix winner will receive a $250 camera equipment rental from the awesome Pro Photo Rental crew!

Great equipment from Canon, Nikon, Olympus
with free three day shipping each way.

    Have fun and be safe.

I kept it simple with a shot from a project I am working on: a 365 project, one photo a day taken/processed/uploaded with nothing but my iPhone.

  2. Bebe

I love this idea. I’ve only been taking iphone photos lately, my dslr is being seriously neglected.

  3. Meghann

This was a picture I took one day when I was bored. I saw the light coming in through the window and just had an idea. 🙂

That was a photo I took when in Seaside…I love it. It makes me feel desolate and warm all at the same time. If that’s possible. 🙂 lol

Anywho…hope you are having a GREAT time, thanks for the Greeblemix win in Feb, love the cd! (tried to send you a thx card but it came back…so…) And I love the idea of an open subject this month. 🙂

I took this photo in February on one of our many snow days. But I took your “We don’t care HOW the photo was taken” to heart. I took this through the car window. It gave the photo a toy camera look, so I went with it.
The funny thing is, snow really does make everything beautiful and it made me look at this scene I see nearly every day (it’s in the middle of a construction site right off of the interstate) in a whole new way.

I was just so, so, so excited for spring to finally arrive that I had to grab my camera at the first sign of a crocus.

  7. Kelly Sauer (Informal Moments)

Dropped in an SP – just for the heck of it. I’m so offline lately – glad I caught this!

  8. Kimberly

I took this shot from the other pole 😉

  9. Madame Meow

To paraphrase Lance Armstrong, “It’s not about the camera.”

  10. Zielinski Creative

been having some fun trying to learn more about low light shooting. Live music has been a lot of fun and a huge challenge. I mess most of them up but it’s always a good time!

I’m needing the Spring pics to brighten my mood! Good luck everyone!

  12. Hannah

Next month I’m taking an amazing trip to photograph Anasazi ruins. I only had the money to buy one of the lenses I wanted. How awesome would it be to get some free rentals for the rest?!!
