Thank You, America.

I have to admit, I have been feeling a bit down-trodden lately.

But my country gave me reason to hope last night.

I have a president committed to helping everyone.

And, honestly, even more exciting… there were so many other things that happened last night that were magic:

Gay people can get married in Maryland and Maine. I couldn’t be more proud and more happy – bring on the wedding registries, friends!

Marijuana was approved for recreational use in Washington and my home state of Colorado. I don’t partake myself, but I will certainly accept all those lovely tax dollars that will be generated.

And then finally – high fives for the WOMEN! Five female Senators are going to Washington and I am ready for them to KICK SOME ASS!

Again. I can’t say it enough.

THANK YOU AMERICA.

Pretty proud of America right now. But the pot law in WA, is actually not a good thing. Hubs and I read the fine print, it’s kind of scary.

It’s ALMOST a sure thing that WA will pass marriage equality too. It’s close but approval is leading. I am keeping a close eye on it as it’s very important to me.

    Yay Obama!

What a beautiful shot of The First Couple… truly, truly, I am glad he will get to finish what he has started, and see some of his plans come to fruition. It’s a good day!!

I was torn between sitting biting my nails and going to bed to put myself out of my misery. So glad I stayed up!

Such a great night. I’m still flying high.
Thanks for eating with me via Twitter Tuesday night, Aimee. It helped calm the nerves.

So happy & relieved. Now if only Congress will step up & WORK WITH the White House, true change could really get some momentum.
