Alex & Sierra Denver concert photos

Alex & Sierra at Denver Botanic Gardens

I wish someone would put out a guide of shows that, in hindsight, we should go back and watch if we missed them. Because after seeing Alex & Sierra perform their very first concert of their very first tour – I wish I had watched the season where they won X Factor USA. The couple are very endearing and damn talented. They were here opening for Colbie Caillat, but as Mother Nature often toys with us in Colorado – the skies literally opened up after Alex & Sierra’s set and all of the Denver Botanic Gardens amphitheater had to seek shelter. (Yes, if you aren’t a local – our gardens have a summer concert series – this year graced by the Chihuly exhibit).

I was sad not to see Colbie (we punked out and left) but happy to hear a band that was fun, fresh, youthful and really happy to be playing. Their songs are a mixture of folk and pop, as you can hear from their first single, “Scarecrow” and the second, “Here We Go.” I look forward to hearing more from these guys when their full album drops next week on October 7th.

Until then, check out my concert photos of Alex & Sierra from their stop here in Denver:

I know – we love it there! We are no members again so I hope to get in on more concerts next summer.
