I have wanted to see Authority Zero for a long time. Even more so since my pal Dan Aid joined the band. I finally got my chance when they came back to Denver’s Summit Music Hall recently. (I also just missed them in Phoenix: they played Punk in Drublic which was the same weekend as Lost Lake Festival.)
The band is as dynamic as you would expect. Lead singer Jason DeVore was all over the stage with Dan doing his now-patented high kicks right next to him. It was a loud, sweaty, fun crowd who loved every minute of it.
Right now, Authority Zero is touring Japan to promote their new album, Broadcasting To The Nations. But personally, I can’t wait for them to make a roundtrip right back to Denver.
