Like A Storm & Royal Tusk at Marquis Theater

Sometimes a band plays and they are almost too big for the venue – such is the case for Like A Storm at the Marquis. Don’t get me wrong; I loved how packed the show was and how crazy everyone in the crowd got. And when the mic stands were shooting bursts of smoke, nobody was complaining. Except the mic stands were actually elaborate didgeridoos. It felt like these rockers from New Zealand were putting on a Fourth of July show just for us, even though they obviously don’t even celebrate that holiday.

I also enjoyed openers, Canadians Royal Tusk. It was basically an international hard rock party and below are the photos to prove it. To go further on this theme, Like A Storm head to Europe this spring with Godsmack. Be sure to try and catch them there!
