It’s that time of year I wish I could be in 10 places at once. Specifically, I’d like to be up in Fort Collins at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten for the next few weekends in a row. Many people know my preference for Bud Light – and I often talk about my German heritage. Now I want to unpack my dirndl and head on up.
But before the beer and pretzels, let’s talk about goats … and yoga?
Goat Yoga at the Anheuser-Busch Tour Center
Bring your yoga mats and workout clothes! They’ll be offering 2 sessions, the first one starting this Saturday, September 21st, at 9am to 10am and the second session being from 10:30am to 11:30am. First 15 minutes will be “goat cuddle time” with the next 45 minutes being goat yoga and each participant (must be 21 to attend) getting a Michelob Ultra after the class. Squuueeee!
Oktoberfest Celebrations at Anheuser-Busch
Friday, September 27: Oktoberfest festivities kick off from 5:30 to 8 p.m., when the local Twirling Zucchinis Trio and traditional German dancers will perform live, while guests 21+ enjoy authentic German beer including Spaten Optimator, Spaten Oktoberfest, Spaten Franziskanner and Breckenridge Oktoberfest, as well as German-inspired food. After a proper Oktoberfest dinner, guests can roast s’mores and watch the sunset on the patio overlooking the mountains. All festivities are open to the public.
Saturday, September 28: Anheuser-Busch will feature a special Stangtoberfest Mustang Club Car Show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are invited to view unique cars on display and enjoy ice cold Oktoberfest beers in The Biergarten during this midday event.
Sunday, September 29: To wrap up the festivities on Sunday, the Anheuser-Busch Fort Collins Brewery and Tour Center is hosting a disc golf tournament to benefit Animal House Dog Rescue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The tournament is BYOD (Bring Your Own Discs/Dog), and local nonprofit Canine Candor will have rescue dogs ready for adoption. Guests can toss discs for a good cause and the chance to win trophies and prizes from the tournament.
Anheuser-Busch Biergarten Fall Festival
With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to officially celebrate fall in Fort Collins! Starting Oct. 4 and continuing every Friday from 4-8 p.m. in October, The Anheuser-Busch Biergarten will host a Fall Festival series with live music and festive fall activities.
During Fall Fest, visitors to The Biergarten can enjoy live music on the patio overlooking the scenic mountain views from 6-8 p.m. The Biergarten will welcome a new band each week, kicking off week one with a performance by Sean Lamborne on Oct. 4, followed by Devin Baize on Oct. 11, Marty Nightengale on Oct. 18 and wrapping up with Phil Lucier on Oct. 25.
Also, during the festival on Oct. 11 and 25, guests will be able to pet and capture photos with friendly alpacas visiting The Biergarten from 4-6 p.m. on both days.
While enjoying the performances and fall-themed activities, guests can purchase s’mores to roast around the fire pits and can also enjoy the full Biergarten menu. For guests 21+, The Biergarten will serve a variety of ice-cold Anheuser-Busch products, including seasonal brews from craft partners Goose Island, Patagonia, 10 Barrel, Breckenridge and Elysian.
