Badflower - Denver Concert Photos - Ogden Theatre - with opening band Weathers

Badflower and Weathers at Ogden Theatre

Go see Badflower in concert. Trust me on this. They will continue to play at bigger and bigger venues and if you don’t see them at places like the Ogden Theatre in Denver, you will regret it. Especially when they are on tour with terrific bands like Weathers.

I interviewed lead singer Josh Katz last year and then photographed Badflower as they opened for Shinedown, but there is something about headlining your own show. The crowd is there for you, through thick and thin. In this case, really there, as guitarist Joey Morrow rolled his ankle on song one and was limping (yet still playing!) through the next. One of their crew came out and gaff-taped up his ankle for song three, and the show kept on rolling.

Really rolling – like the whole place singing every song along with them rolling.

Weathers is a force to be reckoned with themselves, and trying to keep up with singer Cameron Boyer could cause one to sprain their ankle too. Those guys return to Denver at the Bluebird on February 26th with Echosmith – so be sure to catch that show if you can.

As for Badflower, the band heads to Europe for most of the the rest of the year, but hopefully will get back to Denver very soon. And when they do, like I said, go see them.
