Neoma & YaSi at Levitt Denver

Have you listened to Neoma? If you have not, please fix that ASAP. Neoma, along with longtime local fave YaSi played at Levitt Denver recently and I was blown away. I knew how terrific YaSi’s voice is from seeing her several times previously, and I listened to Neoma’s music online – but the live show was even more energetic and fun.

Neoma has captivated music lovers all over the world with her dreamy pop hits. In 2017, Neoma hit the top of the Ecuadorian charts with her infectious single “Real.” Since then, she has played concerts to thousands of fans throughout the Americas. In 2018, Neoma relocated from Ecuador to Denver, along with producer/bassist Danny Pauta of Nockah and Vondye, to focus on her music career. (Personally, I am proud we are attracting all this talent to Colorado!)

In 2019, Neoma released “Young,” her first single as a resident of Denver. Her debut album, Real was released in November 2019 and she also has released several singles throughout 2020.

YaSi also brings her upbringing to her music. The first-generation American daughter of Persian immigrants creates songs that toe the line between Eastern and Western influences, between ebullience and sultriness, between optimism and realism. She released Coexist With Chaos, an album partially about coping with the pandemic, just this Spring.

I am just getting used to attending concerts again but already can’t wait to see these two ladies again.
