Shaky Knees Music Festival - Concert Photos & Review

Shaky Knees Music Festival – Day 1 Photos

I finally was able to attend the Shaky Knees Music Festival and it did not disappoint. From Denver, it’s an easy jump over to Atlanta, and the fest offered a variety of reasonably priced hotels near Central Park, where Shaky Knees is held. The fest itself is also reasonably priced (around $250 for GA), especially considering the staggering amount of insanely good music showcased over three days.

As you can tell by the huge photo gallery (of day one!) below, I ran around like crazy trying to catch as many acts as possible. For maybe the first time ever, I can say there wasn’t one that I didn’t really, really love. Let me pontificate a little more and say everyone at Shaky Knees completely killed it.

I am not sure why I didn’t connect that Central Park is truly a park, and while the weather was quite a bit warmer than we’d been having in Colorado – the trees and shady areas really helped keep the heat at bay.

Check out a map of the fest layout and you can see the thought that went into how the bands would alternate between stages, with food, drink, and bathrooms plotted in between.
