Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls at Fillmore Denver

Frank Turner visited us here in America this summer  to support his new studio album, FTHC, with the “50 States in 50 Days” tour. The extensive run, which kicked off in Manchester, NH, and ended in Honolulu, HI, took Turner across all 50 US states. His stop in Denver was at our wonderful Fillmore Theater – and the place was absolutely packed to the gills for everyone’s favorite jumping punk-folk guy. What’s crazy about this tour is this: hitting every state meant a variety of sizes for the venues – and a close friend in Casper, WY, got to see him in the equivalent on their neighborhood bar.

Frank always puts on a great show, with terrific vocals – and this tour was with The Sleeping Souls, who have been his partners in crime for more than a decade. The whole night was loud, boisterous, and exactly what a punk-folk (?) show should be.

For the Fall, Frank Turner and crew head back to Europe to get rowdy with the home team.
