It is filmed in Hawaii… at least part of it, anyway. The falls is Wailua Falls from Kauai. Don’t know about the rest of the scenes, but it sure does look like it was all filmed in Kauai.
I didn’t know who he was, either. Looks like he’ll be here on Oahu soon for a concert. I might just check that one out.
