Mike Doughty Returns to the Road for Solo Tour
After a run of Soul Coughing reunion shows, Mike Doughty is heading back out on the road this spring for a nationwide solo tour – and yes, the songbook is deep.
This solo run pulls from all corners of Doughty’s catalog, blending his solo work with material from Ghost of Vroom and the newly reunited Soul Coughing. He’ll be joined by Andrew “Scrap” Livingston, making these shows feel more like intimate career-spanning conversations than nostalgia trips.
The tour kicks off March 24th in St. Louis and wraps May 16th here in Denver at the Holiday Theater – a fitting stop for longtime fans who’ve followed Doughty through decades of left-of-center songwriting and sharp lyricism. This comes hot on the heels of Soul Coughing’s wildly successful reunion tours, which revisited Ruby Vroom, Irresistible Bliss, and El Oso, plus a national TV moment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the release of their first-ever official live album, LIVE 2024.
If you missed the reunion shows or just want to hear these songs stripped down and reimagined, this tour is very much one to circle on the calendar.
