The Mommy Whisperer

Declan has picked up the cutest habit lately.

Whispering for emphasis.

And not just lowering his voice… He grabs your head, with little boy bear paws clamped tighly on either side, pulls your ear near his mouth, and tickles your ear with his little boy breath in the sweetest way.

But what is even cuter is the things he chooses to emphasize.

For example:

Declan: “Mommy, did you know what we did at school today?”

Aimee: “I have no idea! What did you do?”

Declan: “We played with… (grabs head, reels me in, lowers voice)… BLOCKS.”

I just can’t help but giggle hysterically every time he does it. Maybe that’s why he keeps doing it.
