Being Sick Makes Him Productive.

Here is just a sampling of the artwork Declan created today while home sick with me. My fave is in the top left, a map of the zoo, with the letters z-o-o (backwards).

The other amazing thing he did today was bring me a drawing that had the letters a-m-e-e on it and said, “Here, Mommy – I put your name on it.” I didn’t prompt him at all on the spelling – he remembered it (well, almost, just missing the “i” in Aimee) all by himself.

By the way – the athma meds kicked in about mid-day and he is much better. Should be able to go to school tomorrow depending on how tonight goes.
