Book Reading can be hazardous to your health.
I am guessing you all figured out by now that I went home to Maryland this past weekend, right? It was partially a work trip, where my business partner and I presented one of our latest projects to essentially our boss at the National Cancer Institute as well as many of our peers – and can I modestly say that we were TOTALLY AWESOME? Primarily because my business partner did all the speaking, but STILL.
And while there, since my family lives in Maryland, I snuck a quick trip in to see them as well as a few friends. (For the rest of you in DC who gave me a rash of shit for not fitting you in: I. AM. TRULY. SORRY!!!)
And seeing as I am still sorting through the 50 gozillion photos I took of my nephew as well as my friend Christina’s daughter…. for now, enjoy a photo essay of my attempts to read Ridgely a bedtime story.
And Chris and Beth wondered why my glasses kept spontaneously falling apart during dinner.

Thanks Becky – it’s funny, several people commented on that ring this weekend! 🙂
It was a G.R.E.A.T time, wasn’t it.

Yay! So cool you got to see family. Hope you had fun for your Mom’s birthday.
So cute, looks like somebody is a big fan of his auntie.
Lauren, that may be an idea! Just invite anyone and everyone!
totally cute
That’s so great.
and um, I know it wasn’t the point of the post but I LOVE YOUR RING! 🙂
awesome.
Oh that is so cute. I love it!
How adorable is he!! Totally worth breaking your glasses over!
Next time you’re in town we need to have a DC/MD Greeblemonkey Happy Hour!
You should definitely come to Tennessee for your next “business trip.”
I can’t figure out how you took these pix! Did you put it on a tripod and set it to snap at so many a second or something? Really cool and the lighting and feel of the room is very “bed-time”!
No, LOL, it was my sister snapping away with my camera. 🙂
That animation made me laugh out loud!
You are the best aunt in the world.
