Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Aimee Giese (rhymes with easy) and I am a business owner, graphic designer, web developer, photographer and blogger from Denver, Colorado. My husband Bryan and I have one son, Declan (Dex), who is now a senior in high school and tolerates being dragged along with us on our adventures.
I used to be more of a mom or parent blogger, but in truth, I am now a lifestyle blogger who posts about concerts, music, travel and tech.
I have been Greeblemonkey since 2005. Both “Greeble” and “Monkey” were my son’s nicknames when he was in my belly. Monkey because he was constantly jumping, and Greeble because my husband is insane. Seriously. He just made that word up. NO it’s not my last name, NO it’s not a child’s toy – it’s just a silly word from some silly people. I changed to Greeblehaus in 2014 to show some of my heritage, and be more of an umbrella site for my family since “haus” is German for “house.”
I take a lot of photos. LOTS. If I ever post a photo of you that you are uncomfortable with, please please please let me know and I will remove it. Otherwise, I’ll keep doing it because you are so incredibly cute. Lately, I have been photographing concerts the most, so you may even be off the hook.
Oh, and Mr. and Mrs. Internet? Don’t steal my photos. Just because you “can” doesn’t mean you should. (P.S. They are all copyrighted too.)
I used to co-own a 35 person communications research and web development firm in Denver. In a nutshell, the company builds health education websites that help people. During my tenure, we were named one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America as well as ranking #50 among all Colorado woman-owned businesses. In 2011, I sold my half of the company and went out on my own.
I’m now Giese Media. I work in the four areas I love most: Graphic Design, Web/Wordpress Development, Social Media, and Photography.

Brands & Advertising
I work with brands on projects that match me, my life, my family and my readers. Most often that means music, concerts, festivals, travel and tech, but it could be anything! Examples of past and ongoing brand partnerships include Nintendo, PBS Kids/PBS, Coca Cola, Ford, AT&T, Riu Hotels and the ONE Campaign.
