Arkells Reveal New Album and 2026 Tour Dates
Toronto indie-rock favorites Arkells are back with a new chapter: their upcoming album Between Us is slated for release April 17, 2026, via Universal Music Canada and Virgin Music Group. The band also dropped their latest single “Next Summer”, giving fans an early taste of the record’s sound and themes.
Produced in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (known for work with St. Vincent, Death Cab for Cutie, Wallows), Between Us features collaborations with Portugal. The Man, GROUPLOVE, and Poolside across its 11 tracks.
Frontman Max Kerman describes “Next Summer” as a reflective anthem about the hope and mystery that comes with new beginnings — like wondering what next season of life might bring.
Alongside the new music, Arkells have announced European and UK tour dates kicking off in March 2026, with more North American shows to be revealed. The band has also been named as performers for the 2026 JUNO Awards in their hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.
