CHVRCHES Announce All The King’s Men and 2027 Tour

CHVRCHES will release their fifth studio album, All The King’s Men, on January 22, 2027, via Futures Music Group. It is the Scottish trio’s first album since 2021’s Screen Violence, and they will support it with an extensive North American and UK tour.

Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty took a pause after finishing their Screen Violence tour in 2023. For the new album, they reconvened in Glasgow for several concentrated writing and recording sessions.

The group is expanding its familiar synth-pop sound this time, bringing more indie-rock and acoustic elements into the mix. The record also looks at Scottish and British culture through a modern lens, with inspirations ranging from Massive Attack and Siouxsie and the Banshees to PJ Harvey, Nick Drake, and Bert Jansch.

Lead single “Roses” offers the first preview. It is a sharp piece of social commentary wrapped in the kind of bright, driving production CHVRCHES have built their name around.

The North American tour begins February 13, 2027, in Philadelphia and continues through March 14 in Los Angeles. There is no Denver or Colorado date on the initial schedule.
