Girl in Red concert photos & review - Red Rocks Denver

Girl in Red at Red Rocks

If you haven’t yet heard of Girl In Red, you’re in for a treat! The Norwegian indie pop sensation, helmed by Marie Ulven Ringheim, has been making waves in the music scene with her heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies. The project started in 2017 when Marie began releasing music on SoundCloud, quickly capturing the hearts of listeners with her raw and relatable songs.

One of the things that set Girl In Red apart is her candid approach to songwriting. Marie’s lyrics often explore themes of mental health, love, and identity, providing a voice for young people navigating similar experiences. Tracks like “We Fell in Love in October” and “Bad Idea!” are perfect examples of her ability to blend vulnerability with infectious pop hooks.

But Girl In Red isn’t just about studio recordings. Her live performances are where the magic truly happens. Marie brings an incredible energy to the stage, yet somehow creating an intimate atmosphere that makes every concert feel personal. Fans rave about her connection with the audience, often sharing stories and emotions that make each show unique.

When Girl In Red performed at Red Rocks, there was definitely a RED vibe, as you can tell from the photos below. But the performance was WAY more electric than I was expecting. She was all over the stage and clearly having a blast. Our historic venue can sometimes be difficult to get moving, and she had zero problems. The whole place was dancing and singing along for the whole show.

With her honest lyrics, catchy tunes, and unforgettable live shows, Marie is a true gem in the indie pop scene. Keep an eye out for her next tour – you won’t want to miss the chance to experience Girl In Red live!
