Riot Fest 2023: Day 2 – Huge Photo Gallery & Review of Music Festival

I’m gonna admit that Riot Fest Day Two was rough. I am getting old – and my feet were absolutely killing me! Good shoes are the key to enjoyment at any music festival. We also had some rain on Saturday – and it’s always interesting how weather can change the mood. Rain usually brings out a “we can do it!” attitude that carried on through the evening, as rain changed over to the spray of Faygo from Insane Clown Posse.

Feet notwithstanding (haha), it was a great day of music. My new discovery band was Enola Gay, who are a punk band from Belfast. I will definitely be watching for them to come to Denver. And the person who carried the day, maybe the whole festival, was Jehnny Beth, also the lead singer of Savages. She got the brunt of that rain, but it didn’t slow her down – she was all over the stage, on the barricade and into the crowd. Speaking of, members of Enola Gay were also up front for Beth’s set.

And, as always, the “People of Riot Fest” made for some of the most fun all around. Yeah, we were tired and wet, but still totally ready for all that insane (pun intended) music. Hope you enjoy the huge gallery of Riot Fest photos below!
