Spring Ski Deals at Keystone Resort
Our weather can be really strange here in Colorado. The temperatures yo-yo all the time, and generally most people think Denver is an arctic tundra. The thing is, it’s usually not that cold and it’s the mountains (1-2 hours west) that get all the snow. Sure we had some this week, but the resorts have had way more than some. And even when there is a ton of snow both places, it’s not actually all that cold. Perfect weather for skiing and why, as you Denverites know, spring can be the very best time to head up the hill.
While Bryan is the big snowboarder in the family, we all love winter fun in the mountains and will be spending Spring Break at Keystone Resort. Those guys are known as one of the best family-friendly travel destinations in Colorado and we look forward to sharing all the fun!
Here are some highlights at Keystone, especially for families:
Kids Ski Free: Keystone Resort will continue the popular family-focused Kids Ski Free program for the entire 2014-2015 season. This allows all children 12 years of age and younger to stay in Keystone’s owned and operated lodging, and to ski and snowboard free every day, all season.
Family Ski Trail, The ‘SchoolYard:’ Now in its second season, The SchoolYard is located on Keystone’s signature green cruiser, Schoolmarm. The first of its kind, this Family Ski Trail is designed to engage skiers and riders of all ages, while promoting on-snow progression with specialty features.
NEW EpicMix Guide: EpicMix Guide uses guest input to generate a customized, step-by-step navigational guide to experience Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge or Keystone in Colorado, Canyons in Park City, Utah, or Heavenly, Northstar or Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe like a long-time local.
Family Adventures: Tubing hill, ice skating, Kidtopia, snow cat tours, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, and let’s not forget – the world’s largest snow fort.
We were just at Keystone over the holidays – what a fabulous resort. So much for the family to do!
I loved watching your fun as well!
This seems like the perfect resort for families! And those pictures look gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jordan!
