The Maine Announce New Album and Tour for 2026

The Maine have released a new single, “Quiet Part Loud,” as they continue building toward their tenth studio album, Joy Next Door, due April 10. The band has also confirmed a 2026 headline tour, their first in nearly two years, beginning in March. In addition, they are scheduled to perform “Die To Fall” on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April.

Following last month’s announcement of Joy Next Door and the debut of lead single “Die To Fall,” the band – John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch – are offering another preview of the upcoming record. “Quiet Part Loud” arrives as the latest release from the project and further introduces the tone of the new album to their dedicated fanbase, known as the 8123 Family.

According to vocalist John O’Callaghan, the song came together quickly. He explains that while some songs take months or years to complete, this one was written in a matter of hours, shaped by urgency and the idea of speaking openly while there is still time. Built around driving percussion and layered vocals, the track centers on intimacy and direct communication, with O’Callaghan delivering the line, “Talk to me just like there’s no one around,” over pulsing instrumentation.

Joy Next Door was written and recorded sequentially, reflecting the band’s emphasis on storytelling and album cohesion. Continuing a long-running creative tradition, each album era is associated with a specific color, and this project is defined by green. Drummer Pat Kirch notes that the green theme aligns with the organic instrumentation and imperfections intentionally left in the recordings.

The Maine will begin their 26-date headlining tour on March 24, 2026 at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. The run marks their first headline outing in nearly two years and represents the largest tour of their career to date. The schedule includes major markets such as Phoenix, Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, here in Denver, and more.

Over nearly two decades, The Maine have established themselves as an independent rock mainstay, amassing more than one billion global streams and over one million social media followers. Since their 2008 debut album Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, they have released nine studio albums, five of which charted on the Billboard 200. In 2022, they earned a Top Five Alternative Radio hit with “Loved You A Little.” The band has appeared at major festivals including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and they have headlined their own sold-out 8123 Fest in their hometown of Tempe, Arizona.
