The Struts at Denver’s Ogden Theatre

I’m not even sure what to say about The Struts show other than WOW. Another band that everyone said to see live and everyone was right. Vocalist Luke Spiller was like watching Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, Robert Plant – you name it. Everyone says that. But, of course, he was all himself, really – with an astronomically great voice and personality. I tried super hard to get photos of the rest of the band, but it’s also hard to take your eyes off him.

It was a special treat for me because Denver locals Viretta opened the show – twins Robert and Michael Moroni are well known in the music scene around here. Viretta released their new album, The Fear, the night of the show to celebrate opening for such a kick-ass band.

The Struts are in the States throughout the summer. Take everyone’s advice and see them as soon as you can.
