Youth on Record Kicks Off 6th Annual Music Matters March
For the sixth year in a row, Youth on Record has assembled an incredible roster of local businesses to amplify a significant message: Music Matters.
Youth on Record has 40+ partners confirmed to participate in this powerful annual fundraising campaign! Participating businesses pick a special service, product, or menu item to donate a portion of proceeds from during the entire month of March. Many locations donate $1 from a specialty drink or a percentage from select products.
“We’re excited to partner with dozens of businesses in Colorado to uplift and support young creatives ages 11-24 with our free and paid creative programming opportunities! Youth on Record equips young people with the skills to advance their academic success, increase their economic opportunities, and strengthen their community connections and networks. This year we served youth through our for-credit classes, out-of-school programs, fellowship programs, and more. Supporting Music Matters March business partners this month will help expand our reach to include more incredible young people,” said Development Director Nathan Mackenzie.
Here are some of the confirmed partnerships supporting the work at Youth on Record (and there are more to come!):
-
Love, Tito’s is a longtime supporter of Youth on Record and Music Matters March, and this year is matching up to $5,000 raised at all participating locations that feature a Tito’s Handmade Vodka Cocktail!

About Youth on Record
Youth on Record is a creative education nonprofit in Denver that offers free programs for youth ages 11-24. They teach for-credit music classes in Denver/Aurora public schools and offer after-school music workshops, paid internships, a fellowship program, and more. They serve thousands of youth annually and actively support a student-to-career pipeline in the creative economy – plus, they became co-owners of the Underground Music Showcase in 2022. Their education, music, and community programs are designed to help young people become more free, more rooted in their personal power, and better able to thrive in spite of systems and circumstances that disempower and marginalize them.
