Boys Like Girls concert at the Fillmore Denver in 2026 - Photos & Review

Boys Like Girls at Fillmore Denver

If there was any question whether Boys Like Girls still have a devoted fanbase, the crowd at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver answered it immediately.

The Massachusetts pop-rock band brought a packed house and plenty of energy for their March 2026 stop in Colorado, delivering the kind of singalong-heavy set that reminded everyone why songs like “The Great Escape,” “Hero/Heroine,” and “Love Drunk” have endured for nearly two decades.

The timing also feels right for Boys Like Girls. After years away from the spotlight, the band has been steadily rebuilding momentum through touring and appearing at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas.

While plenty of bands from the mid-2000s have settled comfortably into nostalgia, Boys Like Girls continue to feel engaged and energized on stage. Frontman Martin Johnson kept the crowd involved throughout the night, but honestly, he hardly needed to. Fans seemed ready to sing every word before the band even played the first note.

The band’s recent live albums, Sunday at Foxwoods and The Homecoming, capture much of what makes their shows work so well, but there’s still nothing quite like being in a room full of people collectively losing their minds when those familiar choruses hit.

More than anything, this show felt fun. No gimmicks. Just a band jumping around with a catalog of songs people still genuinely love, performed for a packed Fillmore crowd that was happy to sing along all night.

Boys Like Girls will be in the UK this summer and come back to Boston for their “Soundtrack of Your Summer” fest in late August.
