Fontaines D.C. at Ogden Theatre Denver

I have a good friend who is originally from Ireland, and when he tells you to go see an Irish band in concert, it’s kind of like the law, right? I think other Denverites got the memo, because Fontaines D.C. were slated to play the Bluebird at first, but very quickly got moved to the Ogden, a venue twice the size.

I was lucky to get a photo pass in addition to our first-day-of-sale purchased tix. As you can see below – the Fontaines D.C. (*which stands for Dublin City) put on a frenetic, dark and loud set. Be sure to check out their latest album, Skinty Fia, and you will know what I mean. The guys are in Europe for the summer, but return to the states during September and October before jumping back across the pond for the rest of their 2022 tour. Definitely one of my favorite shows of the year so far – get on it!
