Andy Bell of Erasure performing during his Denver concert at Summit Music Hall

Andy Bell at Summit Denver

Andy Bell brought his solo show to the Summit in Denver, offering a night that felt both intimate and celebratory. Best known as the unmistakable voice of Erasure, Bell has spent decades shaping synth-pop alongside Vince Clarke, building a catalog that flooded countless dance floors and late-night singalongs. His solo work lets him stretch a little differently, leaning into personal storytelling while still honoring his pop roots. At our Summit show, that balance came through clearly from the start.

Bell’s voice remains strong and expressive, effortlessly moving between emotional vulnerability and full-on pop joy. The set mixed solo material from his excellent 2025 album Ten Crowns, with plenty of hits that Erasure fans know well… yet never feeling like a nostalgia act. Honestly, this was one of my favorite concerts of the whole year.

There was a warmth to the performance that made the room feel connected, as if Bell was inviting the crowd into his own musical space. Between songs, he came across as genuinely appreciative and relaxed, perhaps enjoying the freedom of a solo tour.

The crowd responded in kind, dancing, singing along, and hanging on every word. Summit proved to be a great fit for the show, with clear sound and a close-up view that highlighted Bell’s stage presence. The lighting and production were polished but not overpowering, keeping the focus where it belonged.

For Denver fans, the night felt like a reminder of why Andy Bell has remained such a beloved figure in pop music for so long. I stayed till the very last minute and sang along just as loudly as anyone in the room. Andy Bell takes the tour to South America in 2026, but I sincerely hopes he comes back to America very, very soon.
