Channel 93.3 Big Gig Lineup 2022 + New CITRA Song!

Channel 93.3’s Big Gig returns to Fiddler’s Green this Friday for their summer music festival that celebrates both local and national rock. Bands slated for 2022 include A Day to Remember, Jimmy Eat World, Silversun Pickups, The Maine and Girlfriends. Joining them on the main stage are Denver locals (and close friends of ours), CITRA. There will also be a “Locals Only” stage with Bury Mia, Years Down, Suitable Miss and Capture This playing in the afternoon.

Local songs were voted upon by Channel 93.3’s Music Nerds, with CITRA’s “Never Gonna Win” ironically being the winner. (That’s after the song was in the Hometown For The Holidays Top Ten and didn’t win. I guess revenge is sweet!) In the track, the band embraces society’s penchant for hopelessness in the post-pandemic world, but also tears that attitude to shreds with an artillery of choired vocals and heavy hitting instrumentals. I hope you can join us on Friday, because CITRA will be releasing the song live at Big Gig!
