Grace Potter - Denver Concert Photos - Red Rocks 2021

Grace Potter at Red Rocks

I was able to photograph Grace Potter with her full band at Red Rocks in 2015, and it was an incredible show. Returning to our magical amphitheater in 2021, after the year we have all had, Grace Potter was definitely overwhelmed to be playing again for so many people, even though Red Rocks was still under somewhat limited capacity restrictions. She kept stopping between songs and just looking up at the crowd with amazement – and even brought her family out on stage to wonder at it all.

This year’s edition of a Grace Potter concert was just her, stripped-down, her voice and some instruments, alone on stage. Well, except for her family as I mentioned above – and special guests Denverite Nathaniel Rateliff, Alex Proctor, and her husband, Eric Valentine, for the encore.

Grace sang a capella, played guitar and piano all night long and proved that all you need is good music and a great voice to fill that amphitheater full of emotion and love. She continues to share those gifts up and down the east coast through the summer.
