The Snuts at Marquis Theater Denver
The Snuts, a Scottish indie rock band, have been making waves since 2015 with their infectious tunes and electrifying live performances. Comprised of members Jack Cochrane, Joe McGillveray, Callum Wilson, and Jordan Mackay, The Snuts have garnered a devoted fan base with their energetic stage presence and catchy melodies. I love discovering bands from across the pond that are just getting their footing here in the States, because that means we get to see them at smaller venues, like the Marquis. Sure, the place was still absolutely PACKED, but we’ll never get to see The Snuts at such a small atmosphere again.
One of the best aspects of The Snuts’ show was their ability to effortlessly blend anthemic rock sounds with poignant lyrics, which created an immersive atmosphere that still resonated with the huge turnout. When the crowd gets going at the Marquis, the floor literally bounces – and that was in full effect! Whether it was the raw emotion of tracks like “Always” or the irresistible hooks of “Glasgow,” The Snuts definitely delivered. I was also glad I got to hear my personal fave: “Hallelujah Moment.”
The Snuts will continue to support their new album Millennials in Japan, Australia and back home in the UK through 2024, so I hope fellow fans can see them there too!
