Introducing Vibee: Destination Music Experiences, Including Lionel Richie
For over a decade, this site has been focused primarily on music and travel. As our kid grew into adulthood and we became empty nesters, we looked for more and more opportunities to meld the two. We have started traveling for concerts and festivals, literally planning vacations around them. Which is why I was thrilled to hear about Vibee, a new venture from Live Nation – which aims to help us with that. Launched in April 2023, Vibee is a music-led destination experience company that builds unique experiences for music fans in killer locations around the world.
Lionel Richie – Dancing On The Sand
(November 30-December 3, 2023)
Like, um, the Bahamas? Because that is where Lionel Richie with be Dancing On The Sand at the Atlantis this November. It’s not just a regular concert – the weekend includes an intimate Lionel Richie headline performance at Casuarina Beach with very special guest Sheryl Crow, and featured performances by Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Vanessa Carlton, Megan Moroney and Jake Wesley Rogers.
Additional activities include the Sunset Soiree kick-off party, the Hollywood Affair event where guests will walk the red carpet, and the Rewind Revue 80’s dance party. Each pool party will take place daily at the breathtaking Atlantis Baths Colonnade. Guests will also have the opportunity to sit down for an intimate conversation and Q&A with Lionel Richie where he will share his favorite stories spanning across his amazing career.
VIP add-ons are available for guests looking to further customize their island getaway, including spa packages, aquatic activities, rounds of golf, private rum tastings, and an incredible opportunity to meet Lionel Richie.

Tiësto – Chasing Sunsets
(November 9-12, 2023)
This four-day adventure with the renowned DJ in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is produced in partnership with Insomniac. The immersive event will feature an epic lineup of artists joining Tiësto, including Audien, Carola, Deorro, Luis Torres, Max Styler, Nora En Pure, Ship Wrek, Snakehips, Suat, Surf Mesa, and Yo Yolie.
The weekend’s home base and headline venue will be ME Cabo, the five-star resort located on the beach, near the marina in Cabo.
On-site activities include headlining shows, pool parties, exclusive cocktail parties, a “Drive into Sunset” set by Tiësto and weekend events at sought-after Cabo hot spots Mango Deck, Funky Geisha, Taboo and SUR.
Attendees can further customize their getaway with insane add-ons including a “Taste of Mexico Brunch” with Tiësto, boat parties, jet skiing, parasailing and tequila tastings. As we head into Denver winter, I am already ready to head to Mexico for the warmth and sunshine!
Excited About The Possibilities
I know it’s not just me who is looking for these kind of opportunities. Fans are looking for more meaningful ways to connect with and learn about their favorite artists. And in turn, artists are seeking more meaningful ways to engage with their fans and invite them into their worlds. To this end, Vibee focuses on fan-to-artist connections through three main ways: Curated multi-day experiences, Festival integrations, and Las Vegas residencies. (Yes, you read that last one correctly – i.e. U2 at the Sphere!)
People who know my family know I’m the planner of the bunch. And I am pretty good at it. But the idea of just being able to hand the logistics over to someone else sounds like heaven.
I also like that Vibee is listening to both fans and artists and building the experiences around what resinates. It sounds like the idea is to make things more personal and meaningful. And because of Vibee’s access to artist and industry partners, the company can secure a wide variety of the world’s best performers in top resorts and vacation locations.
Bonus: another priority for Vibee is ensuring packages are customizable, with a range of accommodation options available at different price tiers. Heck yeah!
