Remi Wolf Announces New Album “Mud”
Remi Wolf has announced her third studio album, “Mud,” arriving October 9, 2026 via Island Records.
The 11-song album follows 2024’s Big Ideas and introduces a more stripped-down chapter for Wolf. While her music has always been colorful and unpredictable, Mud leans into live instrumentation, spontaneity and the energy of musicians working together in the same room.
The album began during early recording sessions in Nashville before taking shape at a retreat in Big Bear. Wolf worked alongside longtime collaborator Jared Solomon, Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin and Gigi Grombacher. The group shared meals, passed microphones around the kitchen and gradually became what Wolf described as a “family band.”
They later reunited at Electric Lady Studios in New York and completed the album in Joshua Tree.
Wolf introduced the album with “Twiggy,” her first new solo single in two years. She originally debuted the song during a surprise appearance with Hayley Williams at the 2026 Newport Folk Festival.
The second single, “Bottle,” arrived August 20 with an official video. Both songs offer an early look at an album Wolf has described as warmer, more spacious and emotionally direct.
