Wildermiss - Denver Concert Photos 2023

Wildermiss at Skylark Lounge Denver

The band Wildermiss will always have a place on this site. They hail from Denver and are now based in Nashville. Not only are they friends, they are super talented *and* super fun live. Due to those roots in Colorado, they still play here all the time.

Case in point was their recent small show at Skylark Lounge on South Broadway (the venue is now co-owned by Nathaniel Rateliff, who also cut his teeth for decades on that same strip). It was only publicized via their socials, which is how they managed to have such it at an intimate venue. I doubt that will happen much more often as they continue to grow.

Wildermiss is an indie rock band, but kind of defies descriptors. Emma Cole sings and plays synth bass, Joshua Hester plays guitar, and Caleb Thoemke is on drums. They have been putting out a ton of new music and we all look forward to the new album, Levitate, due October 27th. Check out the latest single, “Identify It!” They are also heading out to support Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness in the early fall.

Yeah, I wasn’t joking – that will probably be the last time we see them in a 75-person venue, like, ever.
