Goo Goo Dolls & Blue October at Red Rocks

Goo Goo Dolls are very, very fun live. Add Blue October and it makes a very, very, very (that’s three of those) fun night at Red Rocks. Seeing as both bands have been around for a while, the crowd was singing along all night. Sometimes I found myself singing too, not even realizing I knew the words to so many of the songs.

It was Blue October’s first time playing Red Rocks and the band was pretty thrilled. I mean, we know it’s the best venue on earth, but I always love the looks on bands’ faces when they see that bowl completely full. Pure magic.

John Rzeznik and bassist Robby Takac are always a super smiling duo all night and it’s infectious. Even with John makes mistakes and can’t stop laughing at himself – that just makes it more fun. But when they are on, they are ON. Still very (very) good musicians with those songs we know and love.

Both Goo Goo Dolls and Blue October will tour through the Fall, so be sure to catch them where you can!
