Grammy-Nominated GAYLE Releases Observing Chaos

GAYLE has released her debut full-length album, Observing Chaos, via Atlantic Records.

The 13-track record looks back at her life between the ages of 17 and 21, a stretch that included the enormous success of “abcdefu,” years on the road and the more familiar confusion of growing from a teenager into an adult.

GAYLE co-wrote and co-produced the album, drawing from songs created both during and after touring. The result covers relationships, heartbreak, trust, partying and the work of sorting through a period when her life changed very quickly.

Observing Chaos includes the recent singles “junebug!,” “loving you is” and “bite the bullet.” The latest release is “clementine,” which arrived with an official visualizer.

The album marks a new chapter for the Nashville-based singer and songwriter, who first broke through globally with “abcdefu.” The song earned a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year and led to touring opportunities with Taylor Swift, P!NK, Cyndi Lauper, Tate McRae, AJR and My Chemical Romance.

GAYLE has also expanded her work beyond her own releases. She contributed “Butterflies” to the Barbie soundtrack, has written for artists including Kelly Clarkson and Roddy Ricch and has collaborated with Lauren Spencer-Smith, Em Beihold and blackbear.

Ahead of the album release, she performed “loving you is” on the TODAY show and visited several cities for listening sessions and fan events. Those stops included Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta and New York City.

No Denver or Colorado event was announced with the album release, but future music and appearance updates will be posted through GAYLE’s official channels.
