Grace Potter concert photos from Denver Botanic Gardens 2026

Grace Potter at Denver Botanic Gardens

Grace Potter ripped her skirt right before her show at Denver Botanic Gardens so it would be more flowy. A little last-minute wardrobe adjustment to give her more room to move. After watching her perform, I completely understood the need.

She is still a total firecracker live.

The lawn was packed for her July concert, and Grace brought the kind of energy that could easily fill a much bigger venue. I have been lucky enough to photograph her at Red Rocks twice before, but getting to see that much personality and hear that incredible voice at our spectacular Botanic Gardens was my favorite show yet.

Her voice is the first thing people talk about, for good reason. There is so much power there, with grit and soul that make her such a good fit for the space between rock, blues and roots music. But hearing her sing is only part of why I would recommend seeing her. She puts her whole body into a performance. That skirt needed the extra freedom.

As a concert photographer, I love an artist who gives me plenty to work with, and Grace certainly does. Her movement and expressions are as much a part of the show as her vocals. The challenge is remembering to put the camera down occasionally and just enjoy what is happening in front of you.

I also loved seeing her bring all of that energy to the Gardens. It is such a beautiful setting for a concert, and having a powerhouse performer onstage with a lawn full of people there to enjoy her made it even better.

Some artists leave you talking about their voice. Some leave you talking about their stage presence. Grace Potter gave us plenty of reasons to talk about both.
