A Fun Interlude

I got an extra special lunch date today – with my son! It was a normally scheduled “Daddy Day” – one the few remaining Daddy Days, I might add – but Bryan was interested in a lunch-time presentation over at NREL about Going Solar. Conveniently, NREL is right around the corner from work. So he brought Declan into the office, everyone marveled at how much he has grown, and then I took him over to his favorite, Olive Garden. While I am interested in hearing all about what Bryan learned, either way – it was just plain great to see that happy, smiling face in the middle of a work day when I am having huge amounts of trouble getting motivated. Speaking of, anyone want to send me some motivation to get my ass into the gym this evening?
