Bye Bye Christmas Lights!

Seeing as yesterday was Twelfth Night, I went outside this AM and pulled the plug on the Xmas lights so they don’t come on tonight. Miss Aimee Neat Freak would die if they had to be up for the rest of the year, right? Although, we generally bend the rules by making sure the lights and such are off by January 6th and when we find time to take them down, we take them down. Thus far we have not been struck my lightening or anything.

Declan was crushed when I told him we were going to take down the Christmas tree this weekend. “Huh? I don’t wannnnnnt to take it down! EVER!”

But what he doesn’t understand is, taking the tree down is just one step closer to SPRING. Yeehaw!
